We started the summer off with a bang! with Cub Scout Day Camp! It was definitely a success! A lot of time and effort went into planning, preparing and then running the day camp. It was a learning experience, but overall, very successful! We held the camp in my neighborhood, using my backyard as "Base Camp" We utilized the woods & golf course for the nature hike, the lake for canoeing, swimming pool for water safety, more wooded areas and clearings in said woods for bb guns & archery target practice. We had a rain gutter regatta, taught them how to whittle, and so many more things. We accomplished SO many things for the boys and had a GREAT time. I am looking forward to next year already!
(cake Sis Linder Decorated. Wild, huh?!)
Yep, that's Anson! Not a cub scout, but would occasionally some how sneak into the group and participate. He's so anxious to be a cub scout... and really, it's just his thing. He's going to love it when he gets there!

Way to go Dacia! It looks like it was great. You are amazing to pull it together so quickly but of course I was already aware of how amazing you are) I'm glad you had some good helpers too. Love ya.
